Progress Report

Happy Independence Day! So I can't tell you how much I have lost, and honestly I don't think I have lost any, but I am making some progress this week. I did cardio for an hour twice this week, and then I worked out Saturday morning and ran for five whole minutes. High five for me! I don't think I've ever run that long at one time. I am eating better too. I am still trying to decide if it is better to just count calories or to worry about carbs too and do something like Weight Watchers. Any opinions? I may have found a personal trainer thanks to Mindy, but I need to look into it some more. As a side note, things are also looking up on the dating scene :). My latest goal is to not pig out or even overindulge myself for the 4th of July and keep up the pace and hopefully move it up a notch this week even with the holiday.

  1. Julie! I love this! You are so brave and your excitement is awesome! My mom did the carb counting and my sister did the calorie counting and my sister wound up losing more but every BODY is different :-) My sister-in-law and her husband are doing weight watchers and they've seen awesome results. Mike and I will probably start up with something once we get back to Idaho. Remember, one step at a time. I'm excited to hear all about your updates!

  2. I know lots of people who've had success on weight watchers. I also think that counting calories is really smart....but you have to make the calories really count so you should do lean meats, Whole grains & low carb, lots of veggies & fruit. Great job this week!!You're doing fantastic!

  3. I think joining any kind of support system is a good thing, Weightwatchers or what have you. Also, I have a close friend who hooked up with a personal trainer and WOW-EEE!! She really got stronger and smaller. I was amazed. Good job for getting started. Awesome!
